Eastside El Paso is also home to the historic El Paso Mission Trail the most important surviving Spanish mission stations in Texas. The Mission Trail starting in El Paso is one of the best ways to explore the state’s rich multicultural heritage with the highlight being the Ysleta Mission. Other along the way are the Socorro Mission, San Elizario with its Spanish garrison church and may other authentic cultural highlights surrounding the Mission.
